Elegant black and white
Kayser full slip, bodice of silky nylon tricot, skirt of black
Taftalene, a fabric of 100% nylon with a taffeta finish designed
to wear under knits. This vintage new never worn Kayser slip
has the original pin tag as well as the hang tag extolling the
virtues of Taftalene. This style slip with white bodice and black
skirt is referred to as a suit slip allowing the white bodice
to show under a sheer blouse, a look popular well into the 1960's.
The size is 36, side length 30", the white bodice sweeps
and swoops into the black skirt, one presumes this is to make
sure the blouse always has the proper color underlying. The
bodice is trimmed with exquisite swirly lace, a marvelous unique
slip for your collection.
