This is an extremely
unusual and unique black half slip bearing a very old label reading
Garta Half Slip by Youth Form (the girdle people). The elastic
waist stretches from 24 to 28, size is labeled 28, just below
the elastic on each side is a set-in 5" x 5" panel
of lacy spandex girdle fabric. This would qualify as a size Small,
hips fit 38 to 40 and the length is 29", this likely dates
from the late 1940's era. The fabric feels like rayon and does
not have any give, the condition is excellent, the hem is trimmed
with lovely lace.
