This is just the most
adorable gown and jacket set ever, it makes you think of Latin
dancing. The designer of this unique set is Vanity Fair, the
era is the late 1950's, the condition is very good. The size
is 32 with the waist fitting 26/28 and the side length is 38".The
color is white, the nylon very slick and smooth, the ruffles
are white chiffon with red edge stitching. The nightie has an
evening gown look with the set-in midriff and flowing skirt.
The little jacket is pure 1940's styling with the sleeves becoming
the bodice front and back with a center swoop in the rear. The
ruffles could be described as Samba inspired or today we would
say Salsa inspired, just too cute.
