These 1940s silk tap
panties are gorgeous in that wonderful peach perfection color
so loved in that era. The silk is soft and supple and feels marvelous
as it glides over the body. There is no label, the seams are
rolled and hand finished, the workmanship is superb. The condition
is excellent with two pindot storage marks below the waist and
a teeny separation at the base of the side placket which fastens
with 2 mother of pearl buttons. The size is medium with the waist
measuring 28" and the hips 37/39, the length is 15",
the hem is finished with tiny scallops. Each front leg is adorned
with exquisite floral cord stitching and a delicate open net
pattern.
