This fabulous slip is
no longer perfect but it is so unique and beautiful it belongs
with the treasures of a vintage lingerie lover. The maker is
Formfit Rogers, the size is 40 and the side length is 32",
I would call the condition gently worn and well cared for with
these being the only things of note. The straps have been sewn
into place and measure 14 1/2", the back of the straps have
elastic, one strap has 2 areas of snags. One side of the chiffon
trim at the bodice front has a couple of picks not easily seen.
The style and design are unique with the fitted torso, the chiffon
border that runs all the way down the center of the bodice is
very sexy giving that little glimpse of skin. The bust cups have
lace appliques across the top and extending down the center,
the hem is of matching lace. The color is what I would describe
as nude pink, the nylon is very special and smooth with a body
loving feel. This is the only vintage slip of this design I've
ever seen and in spite of the little problems that do not affect
the beauty or wearability of this slip, it will become a treasured
part of your vintage collection and quite likely your favorite
to wear.
