This is the ultimate
in nylon mega-full petticoat crinolines, this is an authentic
Doris' Crystal Magic petticoat crinoline slip. The original label
is attached, the petticoat is double with each layer having 4
tiers of gathered poufy nylon. The fullness contains 60 yards
of nylon, each of the two layers consists of four tiers of nylon
each gathered to the next tier. The entire slip is reversible
and is virtually one size fits all, the length is 19", the
elastic waist stretches from 24" to 36", the hips are
free. The condition is excellent vintage, the elastic tier is
cotton, the body of the petticoat is sparkling white nylon and
the last tier of each layer is multi-color shades of pink. The
colors range from pink, hot pink, fuschia and magenta, this is
an extravagantly elegant crinoline and when purchased it was
a pricey $150.00. There are no snags, stains, pics or other damage,
these slips were custom made and never mass produced so they
are rare indeed. The nylon has a shimmery crystal finish unique
to the Doris' Crystal Magic creations. This fabulous garment
has been hand washed and drip dried in the warm Mississippi breeze
ready for you to dance and twirl.
