Polish 3D scanner manufacturerEvatronix SAhas launched the eviXmatic inspection system. Debuting in North America at RAPID + TCT 2019 last week, the new hardware provides fully automated, non-contact measurements of parts. It also highlights the company’s strategy within the U.S. market.

The Evatronix network
Evatronix was founded almost three decades ago as an electronics system and circuit design/delivery service. In 2008, the company re-positioned its efforts to begin offering its own 3D scanners and related services such as reverse engineering, “scan to print,” rapid prototyping and training. The company is also a reseller of Leios 2, SpaceClaim, Geomagic Control X and Geomagic Design X.

Enabling the automated scanning of parts in eviXmatic is a collection of predefined scanning scenarios and templates. Integrated with 3D Systems Geomagic Control X software, scan data from the system can be used to automatically generate quality inspection reports for components.
