Developing the Australian additive manufacturing market

EOS began an increased focus on the Australasian market in August 2018 appointingConflux Technology, an additive manufacturing consultancy and service provider, as its Official Agent. At the time of that deal, Dr. Hans J. Langer, Founder and Chairman of EOS,commented, “We have observed an increased appetite for industrial printing technology in Australia…[Here] we currently see the biggest potential for industrial 3D printing in industries such as mining, aerospace, medical and transportation.”

“We at EOS choose to collaborate with Conflux Technology as they are a strong local technology partner with in-depth industrial 3D printing know-how. Together we are sustainably developing the Australian market for AM solutions.”

For John Hart, a company that made its name selling everything from basic machine tools to laser CNC machines, this latest deal is an important step forward too. “The addition of EOS to our product portfolio marks a milestone moment, not just for John Hart, but for the Australian Manufacturing Technology sector,” comments Mark Dobrich, John Hart General Manager.

“…this will be the first partnership in Australia of a world leading additive machine technology company with a leading National Australian machine tool distributor.”

“The timing of this agreement places John Hart at the forefront of this technology and provides us with an opportunity to take a leadership position in the development and adoption of the technology with the Australian Manufacturing Industry.”
