Laser Lines, a supplier of 3Dprinting technologies based in Oxfordshire, UK, has become a certified training provider forStratasys’additive manufacturing academy.
Stratasys Academyoffers personalized courses for new and existing users of itsFDMandPolyjet3D printers who would like to upskill themselves in additive manufacturing technologies. Richard Hoy, SLM Product Specialist at Laser Lines, said:
“The training courses are an extension of the advice and education we have been providing to customers for the past 20 years.”

Laser Lines’ 3D Printing Academy
Located at its Banbury facility, Laser Lines’ 3D Printing Academy training center offers one, two, and three-day courses tailored to the trainee’s requirements. One of the courses included in the academy is the “Advanced Polyjet Training: Colour Texturing Expert”.
This 3-day course is designed to give its participants an understanding and abilities to design and 3D print full-color models using theStratasys J750 3D printer. This system has been used by researchers atColumbia Universityto replicate theexternal and internal structure of wood. It has also been used to create a variety of3D printed anatomical modelsto aid in pre-surgical procedures.

Additionally,Additive Industries, a Netherlands-based metal 3D printing expert, recentlyannounced Laser Lines as its distributorin UK and Ireland.
