Evatronix launches eviXscan Quadro+ 3D scanner – technical specifications and pricing

Polish 3D scanner manufacturerEvatronixhas announced the launch of its latest eviXscan 3D scanner, the3D Quadro+.

Replacing the firm’s 2017-released HD Quadro system, the new dual-band scanner was designed from the ground up and features two different scanning ranges for both small and large objects.

Operating on the company’s blue LED technology, the professional-grade 3D Quadro+ is suitable for everything from product design applications to production line quality control and even reverse engineering.

The Evatronix 3D scanning range

Founded around three decades ago, Evatronix started out as a designer of electronics systems and circuits. The company pivoted into the 3D scanning sector in 2008, and has since packed out a large portfolio of scanning systems under its eviXscan business.

In 2019, Evatronix launched itseviXmatic inspection system,旨在提供完全自动化的非接触零件测量。该硬件既可以用作独立套件,也可以用作EVATRONIX系列中其他设备的码头。

March 2021 saw the launch of theeviXscan 3D FinePrecision 3D scanner. The machine is intended for high-precision small part scanning, addressing the needs of watchmakers, jewelry professionals, and even medical professionals involved with prosthetics and implants.

More recently, the firm released its3D Optima+ M 3D scanner, a medium-sized object machine with a scan time four times shorter and a scanning area 43% larger than its predecessor.

3D Quadro+

3D Quadro+最值得注意的功能是其双扫描范围。使用多功能前方和中心,用户可以精确捕获120至450mm的小物体,以及长度长达1000mm的较大表面。从本质上讲,该系统旨在充当一个包装中的两个扫描仪。

Changing the scan range is done on-the-fly and requires no recalibration whatsoever. Users can even combine scans from the two different scopes using eviXscan 3D Suite 2.8 software, which is particularly useful when only one specific section of a build may require high resolutions.

使双重功能,3 d方形住宅区+铁atures four cameras: 2 x 12MP for the inner range and 2 x 9MP for the outer range. These cameras offer varying point cloud densities with the inner range delivering an impressive 351 pt/mm². The maximum scanning accuracy comes in at 0.007mm.

According to the firm, the low-wavelength, high-power blue LED light works to filter out ambient noise more efficiently. As a result, the scanned objects are sufficiently illuminated and the required scan time is reduced, even when working with dark surfaces. The minimum scan acquisition time is just 1.2s.

Finally, Evatronix has even revamped the exterior shell of its latest 3D scanner. The casing is now vacuum cast, making it lighter than the aluminum frame of its predecessor. This also enables integration with more robotics systems for automation purposes.
